Skills: (grades 7-8)
The Skills program is designed to meet the needs of students who struggle with the pace and content of academic subjects. It also focuses on enhancing life and social skills. Instruction is data driven and guided by Individual Program Plans that build on unique strengths and needs. Parent input is essential in the development and implementation of these IPP's. Ultimately our goal is to focus on learning strategies in order for students to reach their potential. We work closely with the students so they are able to understand how they learn and develop their resiliency before they transition to high school mainstream classes.
